What Jenzo is
Jenzo (the app at app.jenzo.ai, formerly tasks.dotdmd.com) is the internal task and time tracker for the Ertiqah team. The Jenzo Chrome extension shows a signed-in team member their queue, timer and day start/close in Chrome's side panel.
What the extension stores and sends
- Your personal Jenzo token, which your admin gives you. It is kept in Chrome's local extension storage on your device and sent only to Jenzo (api.jenzo.ai, or the older addresses jenzo.ai and tasks.dotdmd.com) to identify you.
- Your work data: the tickets, comments, notes, time logs and timers you view or create. These are sent to and stored on the Jenzo server so your team can see them.
- A small marker of which timer reminder was already shown, so you are not reminded twice.
The extension talks only to Jenzo's own servers (api.jenzo.ai, jenzo.ai and the former address tasks.dotdmd.com). It does not read the pages you visit, your browsing history, or the content of other sites, and it has no access to them.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
- We do not use your data for credit decisions or anything unrelated to running Jenzo.
- We do not run analytics or tracking scripts in the extension.
Notifications
The extension may show a Chrome notification if a timer has been running for more than four hours, so forgotten timers do not inflate time logs.
Keeping and deleting data
Work data is kept while you are on the team. Signing out in the extension removes your token from that browser; removing the extension deletes everything it stored locally. To have your server data deleted, contact your admin or email [email protected].
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Tokens are personal, can be rotated by an admin at any time, and only work for the person they were issued to.
